Frank Ozmun is a graphic designer, art director and brand strategist based in Los Angeles, CA.

Guiding principles

I value creativity, authenticity and collaboration, and these principles are at the heart of each project I complete. I work closely with my clients to understand their story, their vision and their goals, using what I learn to deliver designs that are visually compelling, aligned with their brand values and effective at reaching their business and financial objectives.

Growing up, I spent my free time drawing maps and fictional sports team logos, and I was fascinated with antique signage and packaging. While my work has significantly evolved over the years, those early interests can still be seen in the work I create today.

I have been a graphic designer and art director for three decades, and those years have been filled with interesting twists and turns, keeping the journey scenic and abundant. Screen printing and typographic expression were early passions, and I was lucky to spend 10 years owning a printing company in Oklahoma. After that, I had the opportunity to move to New York and recreate my professional career.

In 1999, screen printing evolved into fashion and conceptual development as I took a job in the fast-paced world of NYC corporate fashion.

After 10 years in New York, it was time for a new adventure. In 2009, I founded my boutique graphic design studio. Merging my experience with screen printing, typography and fashion, I’ve had the honor of designing visual identities, sold-out graphic apparel collections and more, and I’m grateful to continue to grow alongside so many amazing brands.
